The project was the product of my own learning curve in my High School career. My freshman and sophomore years in high school, I had less than stellar grades, however in the summer between my sophomore and junior year I took a trip to Iowa State University, and I began to meet people of all different professions. While I was at the university I found a profession I truly wanted to pursue. The next month, I began school again as a junior, knowing exactly what I wanted to do with my life, I had a goal. Ever since that summer, my High School GPA has never been below a 4.33. I did not analyze the cause for my grade spike until just a few months ago, and that is when I got this idea. If all it took for me to raise my grades and become motivated was to find myself a goal for my future, why couldn’t I do this for others? I believe that by immersing others in numerous interesting careers it is possible for them to attain the same inspiration I have myself.
